The MXTS 70 50 is a charger for lead-acid batteries. It is suitable both for charging 12 volt and 24 volt batteries. The practical LED displays provide you with an overview of the current charging status at any time.

Versatile functions
In addition to a diagnostic feature that indicates whether the battery can pick up and hold charge, the device offers you a reconditioning feature that restores deeply discharged acid-stratified batteries. In addition, the maintenance charge mode offers a tool for charging on cold winter days as well as the possibility to charge AGM batteries.

Simple application
Charging takes place fully automatically, in an eight-stage cycle. This maximizes the life and performance of the battery and is also extremely user friendly - plugging and charging is the motto of the MXTS 70 50.

Eight-stage charge cycle
Step 1 - Desulphation: A pulsating voltage removes sulfate from the lead plates of the battery, which restores battery capacity. Step 2 - Soft start: Checks the charging capacity of the battery. When the battery condition is correct, charging begins. Step 3 - Bulk: In this step, the battery is charged with maximum current until approximately 80% of the capacity is reached, Step 4 - Absorption: charging with decreasing current until reaching up to 100% of the battery capacity. Step 5 - Analysis: This step checks if the battery can hold a charge. Batteries that can not hold their charge may need to be replaced. Step 6 - Recond: Repair function for deeply discharged batteries. Step 7 - Float: The battery voltage is kept at its maximum value by charging with constant voltage. Step 8 - Maintenance charge: The battery capacity is maintained at 95 to 100%. The charger monitors the battery voltage and gives a charge pulse as needed to keep the battery fully charged.
