The UniFi UAP-nanoHD is equipped with the Wave 2 standard and can reach speeds of up to 1733 Mbps at 5GHz and 300 Mbps at the 2.4GHz band. With 4x4 MU-MIMO and the popular UniFi controller software, it is the ideal high-performance access point for a scalable, centrally managed network. The un-dedicated UniFi software controller can be deployed from a PC, Mac or Linux computer on-premise, in a private cloud, or through a public cloud service.

The UniFi nanoHD AP has a sophisticated industrial design and can be easily installed on the wall or ceiling using the included mounting hardware. He has a particularly flat form factor and measures only 16 cm in diameter. With the individual skins (sold separately), the AP fits even more discreetly into any environment. It can be powered by an 802.3af PoE compliant switch and is compatible with all UniFi PoE switches and 48V PoE adapters.

UniFi is a professional wireless controller solution that provides centralized management of large wireless networks. In addition to the creation of so-called vouchers, which allow temporary access to the Internet, security-related functions such as walled garden, guest network foreclosure, VLAN or detailed analysis options are also included. The software dashboard gives you an overview of all important and up-to-date information about your network at any time.

The original 802.11ac Wave 1 SU-MIMO (Single-User, Multiple Input, Multiple Output) technology allowed the access points of past generations to communicate with only one client at a time. The new 802.11ac Wave 2 MU-MIMO technology (Multi-User, Multiple Input, Multiple Output) now makes it possible to communicate with multiple clients simultaneously, which has a very positive impact on Wi-Fi performance and user experience.
