JetStream 16-Port Gigabit Easy Smart PoE/PoE+ Switch. Ideal for Video surveillance

  • Connections: 16x RJ45, 2x SFP, 0x SFP+, 0x QSFP+
  • Number of PoE Ports: 16, PoE Standard: 802.3af/at PoE+ 30Watt, PoE Budget: 192 W
  • Assembly: 19" Rack
  • 192W PoE Budget: Ideal for small and medium-sized business surveillance systems
  • Port Priority – Able to ensure the quality of a sensitive application such as a video monitor
  • Smart Power Management – Protects the switch from overload. Quality of Service – Smooth Internet browsing experience and IGMP Snooping is able to optimize traffic on IPTV.
The TL-SG1218MPE is compliant with 802.3af and 802.3at PoE standards, for PoE power supply up to 30W per port and up to 192W in total on the 16 PoE ports. This switch is ideal for small and medium-sized professional surveillance systems.

Intelligent PoE power supply
If the required PoE power exceeds 192W, the intelligent PoE power supply intervenes and interrupts the power supply of the port with the lowest priority. This means that more PoE power is available for the other ports. This ensures that the PoE power supply of the ports with a higher priority is guaranteed and the switch is protected against surges.

QoS Smooth Internet use
The administrator can control the priority of data traffic with the QoS function. This ensures that VoIP and video applications always receive enough bandwidth to be transmitted without lag and in maximum quality.

IGMP transmission optimization Snooping for IPTV
IGMP snooping optimizes multimedia traffic to enable better network transmission, especially for applications such as IPTV.

Simplified Network Management
The TL-SG1218MPE offers a network monitoring function that allows you to observe the behavior of network transmissions. With the web-based user interface and management utility, the TL-SG1218MPE offers a multitude of functions, including network monitoring, data transmission prioritization, and advanced QoS.

Power over Ethernet (PoE)
With Power over Ethernet, you can power compatible devices directly via the network cable, eliminating the need for an additional power cable. Especially for end devices such as wireless access points, IP phones, and IP cameras, this reduces the amount of cabling and at the same time allows you a high degree of flexibility in the placement of end devices.

802.3at PoE+
The IEEE 802.3at standard offers a maximum of 25.4 watts of power with a voltage of up to 50 volts on each PoE+ port. The standard assumes that after line losses there are 21.90 watts of usable power remaining or can be consumed so as not to exceed the maximum output power. For PoE+ a Cat5e/6 cable with a maximum length of 100m is recommended.
