The UAP-AC-M is a compact access point for scalable mesh networks. It offers simultaneous dual-band with 2x2 MIMO technology. The weatherproof housing makes it ideal for both indoor and outdoor use. With several of these access points, large areas can be supplied with minimal infrastructure and without much IT effort.
UniFi mesh technology
The mesh series by Ubiquiti allows the easy construction of a professional mesh network. The big advantage of this technology is the wireless networking of the access points with each other. This meshed structure enables a large areal extent of radio networks. You benefit from high coverage and improved redundancy. In addition, the data rate increases when you reduce the distance between the mesh access points.
Easy construction
The UAP-AC-M supports PoE for a flexible installation. It can be powered by a compatible 802.3af switch, EdgePoint EP-R6, UniFi PoE Switch, or the included Gigabit PoE Adapter. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
UniFi controller software
Use the UniFi Controller software to quickly configure and manage your network. The centralized controller provides you with detailed statistics, frequency maps and status reports of the network on every web browser. Even multiple distributed sites can be managed through the portal.
